Tecumseh man soon to collect $1-million lottery win

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said a Tecumseh man is closer to picking up a $1,000,002 windfall after playing ENCORE in a draw back in March.

Since Keith Ford works for an authorized OLG dealer and the win is over $10,000, the win is undergoing an enhanced review and validation. The win must be published 30 days before Ford can collect his windfall at the OLG Centre in Toronto to ensure no one else claims the ticket.

Ford didn't buy the ticket at his place of employment. He purchased it at Zehrs on Manning Road in Tecumseh.

He can expect to claim his prize on June 9.
