Man arrested after stabbing

A 25-year-old man has been charged after a stabbing in Windsor over the weekend.

Officers were called to University Avenue just after midnight on Monday. They found a man with multiple stab wounds to his face. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators found a suspect on the scene and arrested him without incident.

The suspect is facing charges of assault with a weapon and breach of probation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
