Late night stabbing sends teen to hospital

The Windsor Police Service is searching for a suspect after a teen was stabbed late Saturday night.

Police were called just before 11:30 p.m. at a park at Bruce Avenue and Wyandotte Street West.

Investigators found a 16 year-old boy with serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police said the teen is in stable condition.

A verbal altercation allegedly took place between the victim and an unknown man.

Investigators said the man then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times before leaving the scene in a white vehicle.

The accused is described as having dark skin, approximately 5'6" and a slender build.

Residents and business owners in the area are asked to review their video surveillance or dash cam footage for video evidence, specifically between 11 p.m. and midnight.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
