The fire appears to have started in the garage and spread to the house on Prado Place south of Edgar Street.
One person remains in the hospital, while another escaped the flames unharmed.
The fire started before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
So far, fire officials haven't put a dollar figure on the damage.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
