Windsor Fire and Rescue engine, February 2024. Windsor Fire and Rescue and the Windsor Police arson unit are investigating the cause of a suspicious fire at an apartment building on Ouellette Avenue.
The fire broke out just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Ouellette Avenue between Elliott Street and Erie Street was closed for a couple of hours as crews responded to the blaze.
There were no injuries reported and all occupants were able to return to their units.
The fire caused less than $5,000 in damages.
