Employee of the Windsor Police Service charged with fraud

A civilian member of the Windsor Police Service faces fraud charges.

The Windsor Police Financial Crimes Unit investigated the force's fleet manager.

Officers charged the suspect with fraud over $5,000 and unauthorized use of a corporate credit card.

The accused has worked for the Windsor Police Service for 17 years. He has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
