Suspect charged after stabbing investigation

Windsor Police charged a 28-year-old in connection to a stabbing in the city last week.

Just before midnight on July 11, police responded to a call from a home on Clinton Street near Dougall Avenue. They found a man, bleeding profusely, who said he'd been stabbed several times.

Paramedics took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Through an investigation, police discovered a man armed with a knife and another sharp object confronted the victim inside the home.

The suspect was arrested on Monday and faces charges of assault with a weapon and aggravated assault.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
