Warrant issued for man accused of repeated threats, gun possession

Windsor police have issued a warrant for a man who allegedly ignored a court order and threatened someone with a weapon.

Investigators say 21-year-old Jordan Hickmott was released from custody on July 10, after being convicted of uttering death threats. Under a probation order, he was not allowed any contact with the complainant or to possess any firearms or prohibited weapons.

Police say within a few hours after being released, Hickmott went to the victim's place of employment and threatened them with a firearm. The victim was not hurt.

A warrant was issued Thursday for Hickmott’s arrest, on charges of pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, uttering threats to cause death, and breach of probation.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
