Man beaten with his own walking stick in violent robbery

Windsor Police are looking for two suspects after a violent robbery late last month in Walkerville.

Just before 4 p.m. on June 30, the victim was riding his bike on Ottawa Street near Monmouth Road when two men demanded his bike.

The victim said no, and the suspects struck him several times with his own walking stick.

The victim wasn't hurt, but the thieves made off with his bike.

The first suspect was a white man wearing a grey and black hoodie, black pants, and a baseball hat.

The second, also a white man, wore all-black clothing.

Police ask anyone living on Ottawa Street between Walker Road and Argyle Road to check their dash-cam or security cameras for evidence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
