OLG extends agreement with Caesars Windsor

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has extended its operation agreement with Caesars Entertainment Windsor Limited (Caesars).

Caesars Entertainment will continue the operation of the Windsor casino until at least March 2026.

The procurement process to find the next operator for the Windsor casino, which launched in April 2023, is still underway.

"Public procurements are complex and involve information of a commercially sensitive nature. As a result, procurement details and the names of pre-qualified proponents will not be released by OLG while the process is ongoing," said the OLG in a news release.

The OLG expects to announce the successful proponent by the spring of 2025.
