Police seek west Windsor 'porch pirate' (PHOTO)

Windsor police are looking for a man caught on camera stealing a package off a west-end porch.

The theft took place just before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 22. A man appeared at a house on Curry Avenue near Wyandotte Street West and stole a parcel that was on the porch.

Police have released a security camera image of the suspect.

The man is described as a White male, approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the incident, he wore blue jeans, a red T-shirt, and a black baseball hat.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts should call Windsor police at (519) 258-6111. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
