Kingsville resident arrested on outstanding warrant

A Kingsville resident wanted for an outstanding warrant was arrested in Leamington Monday morning.

An Ontario Provincial Police officer spotted the suspect while patrolling Victoria Avenue around 7:15 a.m.

The suspect was wanted in connection to an assault investigation that started in November 2023 in Kingsville.

When the person was taken into custody, officers found some illicit drugs.

The 39-year-old has been charged with possession of a scheduled substance in addition to the previous charges.
