Roseland set to host Essex Kent Junior Golf Tournament

Over 160 young golfers are set to participate in the 96th Essex Kent Junior Golf Tournament next week.

Between August 19 and 21, golfers between the ages of 8 and 16 will take over Roseland Golf Course.

"The committee is telling me that this year is their highest turnout in over 10 years so we're excited to hear that," said Dave Deluzio, General Manager of Roseland Golf and Curling Club. "There's a big push for junior golf in our area and it's open to both boys and girls."

The event is free for the participants thanks to sponsors like the Roseland Golf and Curling Club's Board of Directors.

"We're hoping for good weather, the course is in great shape and it's a great opportunity for juniors in our community to come out and play free of charge," said Deluzio.
