Single-vehicle crash in Ruthven takes a life

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday night that took the life of a motorcyclist.

Police said a 64-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital after the crash on County Road 34 near County Road 45 in Kingsville.

The OPP and Windsor-Essex Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash around 9:40 p.m.

West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team members are helping with the investigation and appealing to the public for information.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
