Arrest made in recent drug investigation

Windsor police seized over $20,000 worth of illegal drugs during a recent investigation.

On Wednesday, officers with the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Enforcement Unit arrested a 46-year-old outside a west-end business.

Investigators searched the suspect's vehicle with K9 officer Coal. They found 27.9 grams of cocaine, 55.6 grams of fentanyl, and 54.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine, with a total estimated street value of $20,220.

The man faces multiple counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
