Fire officials investigating cause of two incidents

Windsor Fire and Rescue are looking into two fires that broke out within 24 hours.

The first broke out early Wednesday morning on Ellis Street East near Lillian Avenue. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control by 8 a.m. Damage was estimated at $100,000.

The second took place on Randolph Avenue near College Avenue.

Few details have been released, but fire officials and police say a Molotov cocktail was found at the scene.

Damage is estimated at $500.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
