Time's running out to make nominations for Biz X Awards

If you know someone, a business, or an organization that deserves a shout-out, why not nominate them for this year's Biz X Awards?

The deadline to make that nomination is running out. Nominations close on September 9 at 5 p.m.

For the past 27 years, Biz X has highlighted the best the region has to offer through its awards program.

Once the nominations are in, Biz X will publish the list of nominees on September 17. The public can vote until September 24 at 5 p.m.

There are some rules to keep in mind.

Only one nominee is allowed for each category. The nominee must be in Windsor, Essex County, or Pelee Island, and media companies are not eligible.

Last year's winners included Artist of the Year Sarah Booth, Distinguished Biz Champ of the Year Windsor Express, and Most Wonderful Event of the Year Town of Amherstburg Open Air Weekends.
