UPDATE: No foul play in incident at Windsor business

Windsor police have reported no foul play was involved in an incident Thursday afternoon at a local sporting goods store.

Few details have been released, but officers responded to the General Gun and Supply Shooting Centre and Store, on Eugenie Street West and Dougall Avenue, shortly after 4 p.m.

The business did confirm on its Facebook page that an incident took place.

"There was an incident on the range [Thursday]," read the Facebook post. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the individual involved. We appreciate your understanding and support during this difficult time."

In a short update, police said the scene was cleared and there was no evidence of wrongdoing.
