OPP investigate serious crash in Lakeshore

Provincial police are investigating a serious collision in Lakeshore involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

Essex County OPP said the collision happened at County Road 46 and Gracey Side Road late Sunday afternoon.

Gracey Side Road was closed between South Middle Road and Morris Road, and County Road 46 was closed between Richardson Side Road and Windsor Avenue.

The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.

OPP posted about the collision on X, formerly Twitter, just before 6 p.m. and asked people to avoid the area.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
