LaSalle couple wins $1-million in Lotto Max draw

"Winning feels amazing!" said a LaSalle man as he picked up his $1-million MaxMillions Prize at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Centre in Toronto.

Patrick and Debra Cushing won their windfall in the August 13 draw.

"I checked our ticket on the OLG app and thought we had won $1,000," said Patrick Cushing. "We were both so surprised when we realized we had won much more than $1,000!"

The couple bought their ticket at the Canadian Tire convenience store on Dougall Avenue in Windsor.

The two say they'll share their winnings with their children, complete home renovations, and travel with their winnings.
