Walkerville Night Market returns after cancelling August event

After inclement weather forced the cancellation of the Walkerville Distillery District Night Market last month, Walkerville Brewery is holding another one on Friday to make up for it.

The event on Friday will be the last one this year.

Argyle Road, in front of the brewery, will close at 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. for the night market.

"The popular outdoor event welcomes attendees of all ages, ensuring there's something for everyone, including great food and drink options, alongside shopping experiences," said the brewery. "The event features live entertainment, a large retail area, a food court with local food trucks, restaurants and more."

Previous night markets this summer attracted thousands of patrons.

"As we prepare for the final market of the season, we invite everyone to come together one last time to celebrate our local community and the remarkable talent that makes it thrive," said Walkerville Brewery owner Mike Brkovich.

The previous events were June 28 and July 26.
