Man wanted in B&E investigation

Windsor police arrested two people and issued an arrest warrant for a third after a break-in at a home on Riverside Drive.

On October 1, officers were called to Riverside Drive near Patrice Drive for a break-in. Their investigation discovered that two people broke into the home while a third waited in a vehicle in the driveway. Multiple items were stolen from the home including jewellery, a computer, and an electric bicycle.

Police identified the three suspects with the help of video surveillance footage.

On October 2, two of the three suspects were arrested on Aylmer Avenue. A 46-year-old and a 28-year-old were charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and breach of a judicial order.

A warrant has been issued for 41-year-old David Lanno. He is described as a white man, 5’8” tall, approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
