Lakeshore OPP search for driver after pedestrian struck in a parking lot

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the driver of a car that struck a pedestrian in Lakeshore on Wednesday.

Police were called to a private parking lot on Patillo Road just after 3 p.m., where a black Chevrolet Camero struck a pedestrian.

A woman behind the wheel left before officers arrived, and police hope the public can help identify her.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
