UPDATE: Police investigate shooting, arson in east Windsor

Windsor Police continue investigating an incident at a home on Monticello Avenue in the Little River neighbourhood.

An unnamed source with the Windsor Police Service confirmed the WindsorNewsToday.ca on Thursday morning that multiple gunshots were fired at the home.

Investigators also learned that a white cube van was seen leaving the area. A short time later, the van was found to have fire damage.

No one was hurt, and police say there is no threat to public safety.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the area of both incidents to check their security cameras for any unusual activity on Thursday morning.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
