Kingsville school threats 'unfounded'

Ontario Provincial Police in Kingsville determined threats to a local school were "unfounded."

In a news release, police said they were informed of the threats on Tuesday, October 15 and launched an investigation. The investigation determined there was no direct specific threat and that there was no threat to public safety, students, faculty, or the school at any time.

Police would not disclose the name of the school or school board.

As the threats were unfounded, no charges were laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
