Hospital foundation receives cheque from Run for Windsor

After 500 people took part in a run last May to raise money for the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, the foundation received the cheque on Wednesday.

The fourth annual Run for Windsor, held at Malden Park, raised $30,750, bringing the foundation's total to $78,250.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elder's Association organized the run. Several local politicians attended, including Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens, Windsor-Tecumseh MPP Andrew Dowie, and Windsor-Tecumseh MP Irek Kusmierczyk.

The event was the first since it took a hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.
