OPP search for pickup truck driver after Lakeshore crash

The Ontario Provincial Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck involved in a crash Wednesday night on County Road 42 at County Road 22 in Lakeshore.

The OPP and paramedics with the Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Service responded to the two-vehicle crash just after 5 p.m.

Two people were hurt when an eastbound pickup truck crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and collided with another vehicle.

Police say the pickup truck didn't stop and continued northbound on County Road 22.

Paramedics took the injured parties to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police want to talk to the driver of a green or pewter full-sized pickup truck with rusted rims and possibly a toolbox in the bed.
