Teen arrested for alleged role in assault on Windsor delivery person

One of four people wanted for allegedly attacking a pizza delivery person in Windsor has been arrested.

Police arrested the 17-year-old teen, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, Friday evening.

The incident happened back on Monday near Goyeau Street and Shepherd Street East. According to police, a person was delivering a pizza when they were confronted by the four suspects in an alley.

The group demanded everything the victim was carrying, including his vehicle keys. He was assaulted after trying to run.

Police continue to look for the other three suspects.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
