weCHC is on the move

The Windsor Essex Community Health Centre in downtown Windsor is moving from its location on Pelissier Street to a new medical hub on University Avenue West.

The new location will open on November 4, but a ribbon-cutting ceremony is on November 21.

The new facility is larger, has an on-site pharmacy, and is on a bus route.

"Our focus remains on client-centred care, with all medical services still available, including primary care, counselling, addiction support, foot care, hepatitis C treatment, diabetes management, and community education," said the centre.

Executive Director Nancy Brockenshire calls the new clinic a significant step forward.

"This new chapter reflects our ongoing commitment to enhance and evolve our services for our clients," said Brockenshire.

The centre provides primary care to downtown Windsor residents and those in surrounding neighbourhoods.
