LaSalle firefighters planning community fundraiser

LaSalle firefighters are launching a new fundraising campaign to support local charities.

The LaSalle Gives Back campaign will run from November 14 to November 16. Firefighters will distribute a community newsletter and accept monetary donations.

“The campaign name reflects the idea that contributing to this fundraiser is a direct way for the residents of LaSalle to give back to the LaSalle community," says Craig Lussier, LaSalle Professional Firefighters Association.

The goal is to raise enough funds to contribute to LaSalle assistance programs year-round, not just during the holidays.

This year's donations will support the St. Andrews Anglican Church – Community Food Bank and LaSalle Hangout for Youth.
