Windsor Parade Corp. hosts Christmas on the Farm

The Windsor Parade Corporation invites the community to enjoy Christmas on the Farm at Sarah Parks Horsemanship this holiday season.

The county event includes visits with Santa, stories with Mrs. Claus, holiday vendors, and pictures and rides with ponies.

"What we're looking to do is create really genuine and unique county-type experiences, for people that wouldn't normally have them," said Maggie Durocher, Windsor Parade Corporation.

The event was made possible through a $20,000 grant from the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport.

It will run weekends from November 15 to December 15 except for November 23, December 7, and December 14 when the Windsor Parade Corporations hosts parades in Amherstburg, Windsor, and Essex.

Admission to the event is $5 per person or $15 per family. Parking will not be available at the Amherstburg farm. All guests will be asked to park at Malden Centre Park at 5460 Essex County Road 20 where a free shuttle will take them to the farm.
