High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Windsor police would like to speak to someone who may be connected to an ongoing investigation.Few details have been provided, but police said the incident occurred on Seminole Street near Aubin Road.Investigators have identified a person of interest and would like him to contact police.The person is described as a White male, between 50 and 65, with thinning white hair. He was last seen wearing round glasses and a blue and white tracksuit.Anyone with information on the man's identity should call Windsor police's Major Crimes Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4830.
