Windsor police charge man after video of sexual child abuse posted on social media

A 29-year-old Windsor man is being charged after allegedly sexually abusing a three-year-old.

On Friday, the Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) was contacted by the Toronto Police Service about a man uploading a video to social media that showed him abusing a child.

He was arrested two hours later in downtown Windsor.

The man, who can’t be named to protect the victim, has since been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference with a person under 16, making child pornography, possession of child pornography, and transmitting child pornography.

Police have also identified the three-year-old victim.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
