Windsor-Essex Ontario Health Team announces executive director

For the past 29 years, Joyce Zuk has worked in human services, most recently for Family Services Windsor-Essex. Soon, she'll be the new executive director for the Windsor-Essex Ontario Health Team.

Zuk is being seconded to the health team and will start her new position on January 2.

As executive director, she'll work with the health team's steering committee and health partners to identify future priorities and support the development of a strategic plan.

Family Services Windsor-Essex is also getting a new leader. Ciara Holmes, its Director of Mental Health and Counselling Programs, will replace Zuk as the acting executive director.

"Under Joyce's leadership, FSWE has expanded its programming to contribute to a stronger and healthier community," said FSWE Board of Directors President Kim Harris. "We are grateful for her years of service to our staff, partners, and the people we support."

During Zuk's tenure, FSWE became the largest single provider of mental health services in Essex County and a key stakeholder in delivering programs that support those experiencing homelessness.
