Tecumseh needs help naming seven snowplows

There's just under two weeks left to help the Town of Tecumseh name their snowplows.

The town has seven snowplows they are looking to name for the 2025/2026 winter season.

“We’re excited to launch the Name a Snowplow initiative this year and can’t wait to see the clever and creative submissions from our residents,” said Kirby McArdle, Manager of Public Works. “Our snowplows play a crucial role in keeping our community safe during the winter months, and this is a fun way to connect with the people we serve.”

Names can be submitted online until January 2.

Residents can then vote for their favourites between January 3 and 22.

The winning names will be announced at the January 28 regular council meeting.

The contest is open to all Tecumseh residents.
