Windsor's kettle campaign surpasses goal

This year's Salvation Army Windsor Centre of Hope's Christmas Kettle Campaign surpassed its fundraising goal.

The charity hoped to raise $240,000 during the campaign.

Bell Ringers collected $257,561 from November 15 until December 24 at various locations throughout the community.

Every dollar will support community-based programs and services delivered by the Salvation Army in Windsor.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
