Suspect sought in Windsor retail thefts

The Windsor Police Service is looking for information about a woman suspected of theft.

On December 8, 2024 at 7:40 p.m. the woman allegedly stole $998 worth of merchandise at a store on Division Road.

Then on December 17, 2024 just after 6 p.m. police said the same suspect was seen stealing a number of items from a grocery store on Walker Road.

She is described as white, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5'6" and 150 pounds. At the time of incidents the woman was seen wearing a gray and white toque, black winter coat, jeans and black and white shoes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
