Police search for suspected Christmas prowler

Windsor Police need the public's help after a prowler disrupted a local family's celebrations on Christmas Day.

The suspect is wanted for harassment by watching and mischief interfering with lawful enjoyment.

Officers arrived at the home on Rankin Avenue between Wyandotte Street West and University Avenue around 3:30 p.m., where a prowler was spotted peering in a window where a victim was changing.

Once the victim's father confronted the suspect, the man fled.

Police are looking for a white man between 20 and 30 years old. He is about 6 feet tall, with a shaved head and a brown moustache. At the time, he was wearing a black T-shirt, blue skinny jeans, and black running shoes with white soles.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
