Windsor police seek suspects wanted for armed robbery

Windsor police have arrested one suspect and are looking for three others in connection with an armed robbery.

Around 6 p.m. Friday, officers were called to a robbery involving a firearm on University Avenue near McEwan Street. Investigators learned that three men, one of them armed, broke into a home and demanded property and cash from two victims.

A fourth suspect, a 28-year-old, was identified and arrested the following day near Louis Avenue and University Avenue.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 52-year-old Christopher Carbonaro. He is wanted for robbery, pointing a firearm, possessing a firearm, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, and occupying a vehicle with a firearm.

The two remaining suspects have not been identified.

The first suspect is described as a man who wore a facemask, a dark coat with a hood, blue jeans, and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as a man who wore a facemask, dark sweater, grey pants, and black shoes.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
