Windsor police seek suspect in bear mace assault (VIDEO)

Windsor police are looking for a man connected to a weekend assault.

Officers responded to the area of Tecumseh Road East and Buckingham Drive at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. They learned that two men got into an argument, which escalated into one of them using bear mace on the other.

That person and two bystanders were affected by the spray. They were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A security camera image of the suspect has been released.

The suspect is described as a White male, 6’ 2”, with a medium build, short curly black hair, and a small moustache. He also has a tattoo on the back of his right hand. He was wearing a black puffy Nike jacket, dark pants, and black and white Air Jordan shoes.

He is wanted for assault with a weapon and use of a noxious substance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
