Fourth suspect in Lauzon Road armed robbery arrested

Windsor Police are no longer looking for suspects after a violent robbery at a home on Lauzon Road late last month.

Officers arrested a fourth suspect on Wednesday.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on December 28, four men, one with a handgun, entered a home near Riverside Drive East, assaulted the resident by striking him with the firearm, and took items before fleeing.

The victim was hurt but sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the ordeal.

Police identified all four suspects and asked for the public's help finding them.

The first suspect was arrested on January 2 on Pillette Road. The second turned himself over to police at an OPP detachment in the county, while a third surrendered at Windsor Police headquarters on Monday.

All four men face robbery and assault with a weapon charges. The fourth also faces a count of breach of probation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
