Arrest made after fight turns noxious with bear spray

An 18-year-old man has surrendered to Windsor Police after a fight where one man sprayed another with bear spray.

Police were called to a business on Tecumseh Road East near Buckingham Drive early in the morning on January 4.

The spray impacted two bystanders, and paramedics treated three people with minor injuries.

Police issued a plea to the public to identify the man on Wednesday.

The suspect was arrested at Windsor Police headquarters that same day.

The teen is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, and administering a noxious substance.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
