Man injured during violent robbery

A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a robbery in Kingsville Tuesday.

Around 10:20 p.m., a dark-coloured car approached the man on Prince Albert Street North near Main Street West.

Ontario Provincial Police investigators say two to four people assaulted the victim with an edged weapon and stole from him before taking off.

Paramedics took the victim to the hospital.

Officers believe this to be a targeted incident.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
