Windsor police seek suspect following break-in

Windsor police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect following a break-and-enter on the city's west side.

According to police, an individual broke into an apartment building on Sandwich Street just after 1 p.m. on Monday.

"The suspect used a tool to forcefully enter several rooms and stole several items before fleeing the scene," police said in a release.

The suspect is described a white male, approximately 50-60 years of age, 5'8" tall, with a grey beard. Police released the photo above in a social media post.

Residents and business owners in the area of the 3100 block of Sandwich Street are asked to check surveillance or dashcam footage between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on January 20.
