Windsor police are investigating the city's first homicide of 2025.
Around 7 a.m. Monday, emergency services were called to Wyandotte Street East near Mercer Street where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was pronounced dead after he was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit has launched an investigation.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
