Ontario NDP Leader drops by Harrow Thursday night

A second Ontario party leader in three days is campaigning in the region on Thursday night.

Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles will be at the Beerded Dog Brewing Company in Harrow starting at 8 p.m.

Marit will give Essex NDP candidate Rachael Mills a campaign boost.

The NDP candidate in Windsor-Tecumseh is Gemma Grey-Hall, and Lisa Gretzky is the incumbent in Windsor West.

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford kicked off his campaign in Windsor on Wednesday, where he introduced his party's candidate for Windsor West, Tony Francis.

Ford was joined by two PC incumbents, Andrew Dowie in Windsor-Tecumseh and Essex MPP Anthony Leardi.

Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie announced she would run in the riding of Mississauga-East-Cooksville on Wednesday.

So far, the Liberals have not named candidates for Windsor West, Windsor-Tecumseh, or Essex.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
