Windsor Police investigate $8,500 theft in cosmetics

Windsor Police are looking for two suspects who stole over $8,500 in cosmetics in two separate thefts.

The thefts were at two different pharmacies in the city, on Ottawa Street between Argyle Road and Monmouth Road, and on Menard Street at Lauzon Road. They were on January 30 and 31.

On both occasions, a man and a woman entered the store, took a large quantity of makeup and left without paying.

The first suspect is described as a Middle Eastern man, between 25 and 35 years, 5'11", 160 lbs, with short black hair, a moustache and beard, and glasses.

The second is a Middle Eastern woman, around the same age, 5'7", 140 lbs, with long black hair and glasses.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
