OPP looking for steak thief

Officers with the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police are looking for a suspect who stole nearly $300 of steaks from a Lakeshore business.

Around 12:30 p.m. Monday, a person entered the store on Notre Dame Street, stole the meat and left in a white sedan.

The suspect is described as a white man, around 60 years old, and balding. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a brown puffy jacket, jeans, and black shoes.

The OPP is asking anyone who can identify the individual to contact the Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
