Impaired driving charges laid after crash in Kingsville

A 27-year-old man from Blandford-Blenheim faces charges after a crash on Tuesday night in Kingsville.

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to the crash on Road 2 West just after 7 p.m., where they arrested the driver.

The man faces one count of operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs or alcohol, operation of a motor vehicle while being over the legal limit, and dangerous driving.

He'll be at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on February 19.

In addition to the charges, the OPP suspended his license for 90 days and impounded his vehicle for a week.

Once again, the OPP urges residents to call 911 if they suspect a driver is impaired.
