The Ambassador Bridge, January 25, 2025. Border agents in Detroit have arrested a driver after uncovering a massive cocaine haul.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents referred a vehicle to secondary inspection on Tuesday at the Ambassador Bridge.
Following a search, CBP agents found and confiscated 110.45 kilograms of cocaine.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and will face federal smuggling charges.
The charges have not been proven in court.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
